Apart from the compulsory federal labor laws posters that apply to all the states, there are similar states labor laws posters that are common to some of the states. These common posters that bear the same appellations with same contents t are derived from the various state labor laws with same provisions.

The state labor laws that bring about such state labor law posters are residual laws and regulations that provide adequate stipulations to meet individual states’ localize labor system requirements.

Looking at all the states labor laws posters, and taking some of the available labor law posters, it can be seen that posters like the ‘Child Labor Law poster’ is common to states of Florida, New York, Ohio, and Texas. The ‘Pay Day Notice poster’ is also common to states of California, Colorado, and Texas.

The Texas Labor Law poster  on the Child does not only bear the same name as the New York Child Labor Law poster and the Florida Child Labor Law poster, they all share similar provisions to a great extent. The ‘Arizona Employment Discrimination Labor Law poster’ and the ‘California Harassment/Discrimination labor law posters’ may have different nomenclature, but there basic provisions are of the same content.

On the other hand there are many diverse different states labor laws posters that are not common to all the states, as can be verify using the states of California, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, New York, and Ohio as examples. The Colorado ‘Notice To Employer of Injury’ poster cannot be classify with any other states posters, though there are some states posters that may have little stipulations related to it in some of their contents with different titles entirely. The New York ‘Aids Nondiscrimination poster’ is another poster that is not found in any other state.

The various labor laws that bring about all the states labor law posters are products of rigorous deliberations, pressurization, and Executive decisions to meet the needs of local conditions in individual states of the United States. A states that have special needs for labor law posters that addresses the entertainment industry like California due to the concentration of the film industry of America in the state cannot be expected to share the same degree of such posters as a state like Texas which have serious need for labor laws posters dealing with the oil Industry that is a major business of the state.

Though all the states are bound to share a lot of similarities in the labor laws posters due to the fact of life that each community have need for the same basic needs of life, which is also true in respect of labor laws. The differences in the nature, class, culture, and views and orientation of different communities and states are bound to be reflected in different individual states labor law posters.
